In this beta I'm experiencing a problem with overpopulated Nether. Ghasts and Pigmans (mostly, but also other mobs) are spawning too often. I am sure it shouldn't work like that. Screenshot below is an example.

Thanks for explaining! Yes, I I've been in the area close to that location for a long time after I finally went there. Now this makes sense.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket has not been updated recently (~7 months+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue and is affecting the most recent versions, then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.

This is most likely not caused by the spawn rate itself.
Have you been in the area for some time and now visited that location?
As this is most likely caused by the behavior that allows mobs to walk out of the loaded area (simulation distance). Causing them not to despawn or be taken into consideration when spawning new mobs (that also walk out of the loaded area). Most of the time, these mobs appear in a "cilinder" shape or row (on often traveled paths) around the player.
