Galaxy tab s3 physical keyboard issue

On the galaxy tab s3, SHIFT doesn't work to fly down, TAB doesn't work for previous message, and niether ENTER nor T work to send message/close chat. Key binds are messed up in general and I cant even set new key binds. This is all on the physical keyboard that goes with the tablet.
