I keep having thus issue where items will disappear from a chest or shulker box, after quitting a world, I haven't seen anyone else affected by this, it seems to happen at random, as I cannot make it happen, lost 3+ stacks of Emerald blocks from a shulker box
What I expected
Leaving my world with items in chest/box to return later with them still there
What happened
I reenter the world to find the items have disappeared and are nowhere to be seen
How to reproduce
1.put items into chest/shulker box
2.save and quit world
3.log back into world
4.items may be gone
This is happening on a solely single player world, so it's not a case of someone taking them, I can't seem to replicate it when I want to, so I cannot add screenshots, this was not something I experienced before the 1.7 update

Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't quite understand what you meant at first, going into it like that it says Minecraft is taking up 1.4 GB, I'm the only one who uses the switch so that's the only number I have

This is back in 1.16.100!!!
I play on Bedrock IOS and when I played items in a chest and logged out, they disappeared! It was 3 full shulker boxes of sand, that took me 4 hours to get.
