When you fly through a 1 block wall using an elytra (can be longer as long as it's only 1 block wide opening) you glitch right through the wall. I did this in creative so you might suffocate if you are in survival but you get a xray kinda view if you do this in creative.

In survival, you can use a piston block to push TNT or glowstone into your head, then go in third person and you can Xray without taking damage.
