Can’t ride Skeleton Horse after 1.8

Me too. I can't ride them.

And they shred the neck cord.

This is my issue as well, which really hurts, because I was out on a long foraging expedition on one of my skeleton horses, which I liked, because I could cross large bodies of water with it.  The update came out and effectively stranded me far from my main base, and with no way to maintain control of my horse.  😞  Sadness.  I've logged on with other players, and tried all of my skeleton horses (six of them), and none of them are able to be mounted/ridden.  There is just no longer the option for it.  Hoping that this is a bug and not an intentional rule change.

I am playing in touch mode on an Android device, I encountered this situation.
Even if you move the cursor to them, the "riding" button is not displayed.
I can not bring back the two skeleton horses that ran away.

It seems that you can not ride a skeleton horse caught before updating to ver.1.8.
My skeleton horse was also caught before updating ver.1.8.
There were only four skeleton horses remaining.

I am having the same issue on my Xbox one Bedrock. I had 4 in my stables and rode all of them to the stables, but now I can not interact with them at all! Very frustrating because I want to re-design my stables but can move them.

Noticed this problem in snapshot 19w04b for java version. All skeleton horses spawned by eggs or commands were not able to be interacted with (tamed, ridden, saddled). This was in unmodded single player.

Japanese youtuber was guiding the skeleton horse with a rope in windows 10 edition.
My skeleton horse can not be guided by a rope. (The rope will be disconnected.)
Is not it related to this issue?

Same here. Can't ride skeleton horses. They spawned before the update. Windows 10 edition. I'll try collecting some new ones and see if they are rideable.

I am experiencing this issue with horses spawned via skeleton trap. I have about 10 none of these are ride able anymore.  I can provide a copy of my world for reference although you may already have it from the disappearing world bug a little while back. I can provide a new copy via google drive just let me know.

Same issue. Started sometime after the aquatic update. I'm on Realms playing on Xbox One and PE. Not sure when exactly it happened because they were sort of trophy horses and I rarely try to ride them. They were naturally spawning and I got them from a skeleton raid.
