Res pawn on house above bed

I recently built a large jungle treehouse in my survival world. I moved my bed there and now if I die, I always spawn on the roof of my treehouse. The only way down is to jump to my death so this problem is kinda not good. Yes I did see that others have been having this problem, but all of their claims are listed as resolved, and obviously that is not the case... now let’s hope that this is people looking at this and not a canned reply bot like their unhelpful “help desk” they have for other issues.
