I have had this minecraft world since the Xbox 360. It's a survival world in which I have played very avidly for close to 3 years. The day the panda update came out is the day my world stopped syncing and would not load. Not even the contingency worlds I have of that world load. The only version that'll load is the one fresh from the Xbox one edition. The file is fairly large and Ive found that the only worlds the act like this are the ones that go past the previous Xbox one boundaries which was like 2500 blocks out from the center. Please help me recover this world.. I feel demoralized without it.

This happened to me as well. I'm using Windows 10 Edition. My world of 2 years will no longer load – Minecraft crashes whenever I try to open it. And I also can't open any of the backups of that world.
I did try loading the seed as a new world, and that worked. Doing so, I noticed that the world spawn location is slightly different – maybe 100 or 200 blocks away from the old world spawn point.
Hopefully this is something that will be resolved with the 1.9 update.
