World spawn/respawn issue

I can never respawn at my world spawn because I respawn at the last location that I slept at in a bed even if the bed has since been broken.

to recreate the condition:

1. first I sleep in a bed

2. i go to the end

3. i leave the end and respawn at my bed location

4. i break the bed and don’t replace it

5. i go back to the end

6. i leave the end and spawn back at the location my bed previously was even though it is no longer there.
