I changed a setting for my son in the privacy/security settings for his live.xbox.com account and the now the app crashes trying login to Xbox. If I disable Wifi, the app still crashes.
This happened a month ago and I was able to disable WiFi and reconnect. Now I can’t even do that.
My only option appears to be to delete the app and lose all my son’s worlds.
While understand apps have bugs but the lack of ability to backup worlds to iCloud is disturbing .
There are major bugs between Xbox.com and Minecraft.

Thank you for this!!! I've spent all evening trying to find a way to solve the rather annoying issue with Minecraft crashing once I log on with my daughter's xbox child account. Deleted the file XBLStoage and now it works just fine.
In our case we're on Minecraft 1.10.0 and iOS 12.1.4

I found a way to “fix” the problem
I ran the iOS Files app
Selected on my iPad
Selected Minecraft
And deleted the XBLStoage file.
Mojang if you send me an email I can send the file so you can see the problem
