1.9 update on my IOS device has half of the updates and not the others. I do not have the new lanterns, cross bow, etc, in creative or survival. Some things are not totally clear as to what was included in this update. Videos uploaded on the internet confirm that the update has this stuff.. I do not, anyone else?

I am pretty sure that they on released half of the update. If you want lanterns and the other blocks you will need to turn experimental mode on. This may corrupt your world or create bugs for it. I am not sure weather you can enable experimental mode on bedrock servers though. You’lol probably just have to wait
Moved to the correct project. Please use BDS only for issues with the bedrock dedicated server, and MCPE for general bedrock.
Lanterns are only in the beta which is xbox,windows 10 and android only currently
Crossbows are only under experimental features

Can confirm. Running Linux BDS 1.9.0.15 and none of my clients see new content with a fresh world.
