This mistake I discovered by chance, and apparently only affects the pigmen. (Just look at the image, go to a few times).

I have the same issue with version 1.9 running on Android. I'm also using a custom texture pack.
The same issue happens with the Vindicator's axe. It's floating by his side.
This does not happen while using the Windows 10 version.
Okay, when you load a texture pack it happens. I downloaded the beta vanilla texture update and when it loads the pigman and vindicator break. Running with default textures with only the beta update (0.75mb) loaded will reproduce the issue.
Also, the overlay graphics, like the pigman head, etc.. are broken and don't rotate.
