I have noticed that the beacon light only lasts for around 40 blocks. Though I have my chunk set to 48 I can see about 700 blocks away however, I can't seem to see the beam of light. Why is this? On the PS3 we used beacons as a marker but on here it is impossible. The example sent was on my friiends phone. It seems ironic that we can see the glass panes but no beacon. Considering this is end game it would be nice to see the beacons from a distons.

I google "define beacon" the responce is "a fire or light set up in a high or prominent position as a warning, signal, or celebration." A range of 50 is not prominent to me is this my doing or something in the system?

Whats the point in reporting these issues if they don't get looked at?

This is an example of a difference between Java and Bedrock implementation. I believe it currently works as intended.

If you think this should be changed, check out the feedback site.

I would vote for this feedback. The beacon is supposed to be visible from the distance that a nerd pole (single wide block stack) would be in java. In bedrock it acts as like an entity, so it is visible from 4 chunks plus the chunk you are in (like ticking distance) or about 65 to 80 blocks away depending on where it is in the chunk.
