After updating, the game will load like normal until the white screen with the Minecraft logo and the loading bar, and just stay there:
[media]It'll just stay there, doing the usual animation it does until the game is manually closed. No crashing, no background music, just endless loading. I did leave it running for 30 minutes, which did nothing, then I left it running for 11 hours, still nothing. I was able to get the game working on 1.9.0, so it has to be something related to the beta itself

This issue appears to only affect Windows 10 version 1809, as one of my friends who is upgrade blocked from Windows 10 version 1809 (because of the Intel display driver issues) is able to run 1.11 perfectly fine
Just got the new update, 1.11.0.4, which seems to have fixed the issue.
Funny is, none of the changelogs mention this issue is fixed, not even the in-game changelog mentions this.
Thank you for your report!
We're actually already tracking this issue at MCPE-42317, so we will resolve and link this ticket as a duplicate.

Clearly, this issue was confused with MCPE-42317 (I should try rewording the description next time to prevent further confusion).
While they both prevent the game from starting, they were two completely different causes and two different issues
MCPE-42317 is about the game crashing upon startup that was caused by a certificate error, that issue was fixed in 1.11.0.3.
This report is about an infinite loading screen on Windows 10 PCs running version 1809 (I mentioned that there is no crashing), this issue was fixed in 1.11.0.4. However, the cause of this issue is unknown (possibly a license issue)
They were both fixed, so I don't think it matters if the issue is closed.
Affects 1.11.0.3
