Iron Golem despawn

Hello, while playing Minecraft on Nintendo Switch, I had my Iron Golem despawn/disappear and is gone from my world minutes after spawning it. I used most of my iron to build it and I'm disappointed that it would despawn at all. I would just go into creative mode to spawn a new one, but I don't want to do that becausse the world I was on is the one I plan to do achievements for. My Microsoft account name is Orca20XX, with the world name being "Hard Homies".
