Odd Powered Rail Bug

So I'm having fun in my 5-year-old rollercoaster world (placing a ton of minecarts), and some get stuck, no biggie. I break a block with a redstone torch nearby, and all the minecarts fall, but when I place the rail back, it isn't working. The torch isn't powering it or the rail next it! Tested it on the ground and everything was fun. Please fix this soon. I finished this rollercoaster years ago, and I can't seem to get the rails back to normal no matter what I do. Please fix this odd bug. Screenshots are spots where the torches should be powering the rails. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I’m also experiencing an issue with powered rail, mine is underground. I tested at ground level what I wanted to do, and it worked fine, but now that it’s underground there seems to be an issue, but no idea why. Redstone torches placed on the block underneath (I left 1 block space where I inserted the torch, worked in my ground level test even since underground issue). Button-activated starting point also is not working where it did in test. No idea why, tried to google a resolution, but can’t find any reason, so must be a bug.

Hope that this this will be fixed soon. I presume it’s a rail issue, so commend here as it seems similar/linked, but if this sounds like a separate problem let me know and I can create a separate post if needed.

edit: FYI this is on iPad pro
