In creative mode I've created a new village. I can get every profession to spawn normally except for farmers. No farmers have spawned, I've tried irrigated/hoed farmland in village center, near edge of village, surrounded by logs, etc. I've given villagers seeds, killed off almost all of them, no luck.
Separate issue: at the top of the screen it says I'm running beta 1.11.0.7, which wasn't an option in the "affected versions" dropdown. Thanks!

Thanks for the help! Regarding the outdated build, I checked that no resource packs are installed, but no updates are available. I’ll try to re-install the game.
I was recently reminded by my cousin about the 1.11.0.7 issue, it was a beta build that was accidentally released to all Xbox users. It is possible to return to 1.10 by reinstalling the game. but that will lock you out of any worlds loaded in the beta until the full 1.11 release (or until you rejoin the beta)

The bug you're describing is based on behavior that is no longer in the game. In 1.11, the job site block for Farmers is now the Composter, no longer Farmland.
Also, the current beta is 1.11.0.9, which should appear on the title screen. If it doesn't, you need to update to the latest beta. If it does, but the debugging info at the top of the screen is saying 1.11.0.7, you need to remove whatever resource pack is displaying the wrong version. We are no longer accepting new bug reports for 1.11.0.7.
