So me and my friends created this world yesterday when the new update came out. We spend hours on it and now today I launch up Minecraft the world was gone. Anyone to recover it?

you can see if the world is still present by going into your file explorer and navigating to minecraft>games>com.mojang>minecraftWorlds, then look through the available folders to see if your world is there, identifying them by world_icon and levelname. if it's there, try re-downloading the world by turning it into a .mcworld file. i suggest first backing up the world, which can be done by copying the world folder(or the entire minecraftWorlds folder) to a separate file location. once that's done, go into the folder of your world, select all the files present in it, and then zip them. change the ".zip" to ".mcworld", then tap on it and open it in minecraft. the world should begin downloading, and hopefully you'll have your world back. hope this helps
