Whenever I play minecraft, whether it's offline or online, I lag a lot. I also get constant 5-10 second freezes. Help!

This happens a lot to me as well, and has been happening for months..

I'm also experiencing this problem. It seems to have gotten worse over time. Today when loading up Minecraft, before the main menu even loaded, it froze and the music started looping. This happened 3 time IN A ROW before it loaded up the home screen. The same thing happens in gameplay, but not one directly after the other so far.

i sometimes get up to 6 mins of lag :o
the servers never work either
