World reverting to previous state while playing

This is actually for the latest While playing, the game would revert to a previous state, items in ended chests would retain what was put in them however everything else reverts, after returning to a mine which was dug for over an hour, it had all reverted back to not being touched, items placed in chests disappeared, unlocked villager trades reverted back to being locked, items in furnaces disappeared, placed blocks disappeared, bred mobs dissapered. Seems the only thing not affected is the player/their inventory. The game also seems unable to save now, after quitting out it stays on the saving screen (not frozen, just stuck). Only started happening after the latest hotfix. The game is being played while things revert, anything not in the immediate are of the player reverts.
