Minecraft loading screen showing up constantly

On IOS when I am playing Minecraft, I double click the home button on the device to open another app that I already have open and leave Minecraft for a few seconds, and when I do this and then double click the home button and go back onto Minecraft the Minecraft loading screen shows up every time I do this. This used to happen a couple of small updates ago which they fixed it but when the village and pillage update came out the glitch came back, and it is annoying having to wait for the loading screen to be done every time.
