Trident teleports away when hitting a bell

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Place a Bell

2. Obtain a Trident

3. Switch to Survival

4. Throw the Trident at the Bell

5. Run the following command to locate the trident:

   /execute @e[type=thrown_trident] ~ ~ ~ fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~50 ~ glowstone

Observed Results:
The Trident has bounced off a significant distance away, apparently through blocks.

Expected Results:
The Trident should visibly bounce only a few blocks away.
