So in my previous report I had all my items go missing after I died, minus one iron pickaxe. I returned to the location where I died with a boat, some sticks, and some porkchops. While investigating the area for my items, I was attacked by a drowned and died again. I closed the game while the "You died" message was still on the screen. I then opened the game again, however when I loaded in my skin had changed from the default Steve skin to the Alex skin, I was sitting in the boat, and all the items I had been carrying were missing, they were not floating in the water above where I died, and they were nowhere to be found in the surrounding area. I'm starting to think the seed (-1403231618) is cursed. The location where all of these events occurred is near the coordinates 404, 73, 852.

Blue Fire it was a single player world. As for the skin thing, I just downloaded the game again today, and when I started the game for the very first time on this Xbox One, I had the default Steve skin. Any idea why it would change to Alex after that?

Madison, I am honestly stumped about the items issue. I tried to recreate the scenario you described, but the items didn’t disappear. Definitely sounds like a bug, though. As for the skins, have you tried doing it multiple times? Because for PE it’s typically the Alex skin, but 1/5 times it will be the Steve one. It could very well be up to chance. I would test this, but I sadly don’t have an Xbox One. Did you download it today on the Xbox, or update it before playing for the first time? If so, that could indicate that the new update is behind this.

Blue Fire, I downloaded it yesterday, and it was fully updated. I began a new world, and now I'm not seeing the skin bug, I'm just regular Steve again. Also, when I restarted the game after the Alex skin issue, I was back to Steve. I'm really not sure what's going on.

I’ve had the skin issue as well (haven’t died yet so I can’t say for that one). It does the skin-changing thing upon opening the game each and every time. However, it could just be because of the latest update, as it has never happened before and only started after I updated the game today. Changing the skin keeps it that way until the game is closed, but the process has to be repeated each time it’s opened once more.
As for your items, was this in a realm or a world? If it’s a realm, sometimes stuff can despawn even if no one is there. If it’s a world, then that’s quite a mystery.
