Minecraft for Windows 10 - Crashing on Login to a realm since 1.1.2.0

Since the rollout of 1.12.0, my Minecraft for PC (Windows 10) has been crashing as soon as I login to my realm.

This can be repeated on demand. I am using a GeForce 9xxTI graphics card, which I tried updating to the latest driver version after discovering this problem, without success. I have also verified that my Windows 10 OS is up-to-date as well.

I have:

  • Updated Windows 10 to latest patches

  • Updated Nvidia drivers to latest patches

  • Tried resetting video settings within the Minecraft settings.

  • Rebooted my PC.

  • Executed a "Repair" on Minecraft installation.

None of these have resolved my issue.

The error:

Also crashes on iOS Minecraft Edition as well as my laptop that runs Windows 10.

Great release, anyone looking into these issues?

This is causing a crash on Mineplex Block Hunt (and probably more) 100 percent of the time on certain maps.

It usually comes with a kernelbase.dll error as well.

Thank you for your report!

Crashes and related issues such as these are logged automatically, and will be looked into further by the development team.

Guys,

Issue related to Windows 10 Feature Media Pack. Please install the one that is related to your version.

That fixed the issue for me.
