Stone not smelting to smooth stone

No modo sobrevivência não estou conseguindo fundir a pedra pra obter a pedra lisa, mas no criativo sim , entretanto, se fundir o pedregulho mesmo no criativo, e tentar fundir novamente não se consegue obter a pedra Lisa.
