Minecraft freezes when opening inventory/chests/ or crafting

Hello and thank you for taking the time to address my concern 

I’m playing on an Xbox one X circa dec 2017 and have been playing on my specific world 5 days although this problem has been persisting since I started playing again in Jan of this year 2019. 

When my inventory is full, or when there’s lots of options on the crafting table, the game freezes and I need to restart. When the inventory is sparse it does not freeze nearly as often however using the crafting table is an immediate crash regardless of the options. 

I have been playing with my friend who is playing once an X box one original console, circa 2016 and she does not have a problem using the crafting table or inventory on my word hosted on my Xbox. I suspect this indicates the issue is with Minecraft’s compatibility with the Xbox one x hardware
