[MCPE-49453] Snow stops rendering over river

While on a frozen river depending on where i stop and look while on a frozen river the snow stops falling, sometimes is visible falling in lines and sometimes appears back for a time (look at attachments).

im pretty sure that intended as the river is a different biome

I'm aware it's a separate biome but I don't know if it is intended since it looks really broken

its been like this since always, even before bedrock existed so im pretty sure this is intended

On java edition it doesn't disappear like it does here, and rivers have rain there instead, yet the snow is still visible on land too.
