Underwater creatures can’t detect glass panes

I’ve made an Aquarium out of glass panes and when fish and turtles swim towards one, they just stop there and keep swimming in the glass, as if they cannot detect it being there. Apparently they can detect glass blocks and they just swim to another direction, and if you swim close to stuck fish in the panes then they have to eat potential to swim away but they’ll just get stuck in another one...
