Not all touches are being detected or detected properly

Whenever I'm playing on my samsung galaxy s8, some times the screen becomes slow and when i try to turn its much harder to do so, then my screen starts to not detect the touches. I'm not sure if this is just my oh or the game. It has happened con and in order for it to stop i have to pause my game and wait. Im not sure what is going on with this. I would view this more like a stutter whenever I touch the screen.
