Switching skins

Hi Mojang,

I've been playing Minecraft on multiplayer servers recently, but since 8.1.0 on my switch it frequently switches to platform exclusive skins, disconnecting me, and then usually crashing.

And yes, this has only happened to my switch. My PC (Windows 10 Edition) is not suffering this.

And when I go back to change my skin, it appears in my normal outfit, available on every Bedrock platform.

Do you know the cause for this?
