World will not finish generating after saving in the nether - seen many with this same issue. There was also a recent update to the game but unsure whether it’s linked

I have tried reinstalling the game, restarting my xbox etc but my world will not finish generating and is stuck on full bar. This has happened since I saved in the nether - other people are having the same problem on many platforms after saving in the nether/end city. Can not access my world so is very frustrating. An update was recently done to the game on 01/09/19 around the time it stopped working
