Hello, I’m here to address a problem developers have been ignoring for a long time. Me and many other Minecraft Nintendo Switch players are having a very bad problem. There I a serious bug in the game where this error comes up, “The software was closed due to an error”. The problem starts not that bad like once a day, to once every 30 seconds. I got to the point where I can’t even get into my world, and sometime letting me in for 30 seconds, but not at my bed, at the principal spawn point in the world I come back into the game with a message saying, “Global Resources reset, failed to load previously”. I thought the new update 1.12.1 would fix this but I forgot, the developers don’t care about the switch. I have worked many hours into this world and so have many others, who lost it to a simple glitch. A fix for this would be greatly appreciated for the whole Minecraft Nintendo Switch users, like me. This is a very bad glitch that seems to be very fixable. I just want my world back. Thank you for your time.

If you have a copy of the world available, you might like to upload a copy of it for investigation.
On Windows 10 you can use the Export world feature.
On Android or iOS you need to use a file explorer to navigate to Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds
On Xbox or Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS.
If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.

And what would I be investigating or what should I investigate?
If you are able to provide a copy of the world, we will try and reproduce the crashing issue that you are describing.

Will I need a realm for that?
Yes, on Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS. (Please do not purchase a Realms subscription just to provide a world to us - but if you have a Realm already this may be a viable option if you wish to do so.)
For now we will resolve this issue as a duplicate of MCPE-48406. If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket it would be appreciated.

Yes I’m sorry I don’t have a realm subscription

I would appreciate if you guys looked into the problem because this is a mistake on your part, not ours. Nothing is wrong with my world and so many other people have the same problem. This makes the game unplayable and lots of time wasted, plz fix your bug.
Same here, except it only happens on one specific world for me. My survival world. And I can’t even save because that crashes.
