Some gamerule from version 1.0.4 are apparently missing
Example: drowningdamage, falldamage, and firedamage

We were unable to reproduce the problem you are describing in the latest version.
If you feel this is still a valid issue and is affecting the most recent versions, then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.
