Sorry in advance if this issue is already known of, when I searched all the results were either old and marked as fixed.
While playing in recent worlds I have noticed while caving that water generates not the way its intended to. This error appears in one of two ways:
1.The source block flows but at a point is cut off or stops flowing in a direction it should, I believe that this occurs on chunk borders, and the water cant be updated into flowing such that you need to place blocks on each piece of flowing water. I've seen the same phenomena happen in the nether to lava sources.

2. More source blocks are created from the flow of a naturally generated source block, this is the more annoying one that is unfortunately the most common. It happens in just about every instance of a natural generated water block and I also believe that it occurs on chunk borders. The first two photos are the same occurrence but two separately generated worlds, one survival and the other creative.

I have more examples of these water generation issues if you need them, but from what I can tell, if you find a large cave system you are bound to find some at one point or another. And although I dont have photos I have seen this on both console and PC bedrock.
