The newest update just loads to a white screen then crashes. Please fix!

I have the same issue. Ipad is model MD5531LL/A and iOS is 9.3.5. When loading I see the Mojang logo then a white screen for maybe 10 seconds and then it quits out.

Same issue. Model MD512LL/A. Please update to fix or tell me how I can get it going again. I don't want to reinstall because I'm afraid I'll lose saved games.
