Dragon Purple Ball Crashes Game Every Time When Using Default Render Distance

Every time the Ender Dragon fires a purple ball the game either lags for about a not doing anything for a minute or crashes and closes software. very annoying. you need to defeat the dragon in about 20 seconds or the end is useless.

Reproduce

  1. Check that render distance is 6 and particle render distance is 0.

  2. Go to endΒ 

  3. Get shot at by dragon

  4. waaaaa death by lag!!! 😞😞

This can be fixed by using a render distance of 14. Backup your world before trying this. It still crashes if you see a few fireball clouds.
