HotSpot feature not available on my plan, refuse to pay for it out of principle. I see it as double dipping for the same data. This issue is observed when connected to a wireless router, and multiplayer is local to the Intranet. I'm not aware of PE having Internet capabilities yet. It's as if the HTC Evo 3D is blocking the server ports, making unseen by the clients on the local network. Though there is no firewall I know of in ICS, and I have no firewall/antivirus software installed.

Reviewed MCPE-485, yes it is very similar, however I am unable to test the hotspot feature to see if the server becomes available.

So both my kids have identical tablets, and have played together several times. Recently they can't seem to see each other, why?

Disregard, after looking deeper I found the issue. I had reloaded one tab with a backup from the other as the one had gotten corrupt. Upon that load the MAC had also loaded so caused a duplicate on the net. This had caused SEVERAL other problems with not just the two tablets. Getting into the code and changing that via HEX decoder was able to fix all the issues and they will be happy tomorrow when they are able to join each other's worlds again.

Possibly related to MCPE-485?
Matthew, out of curiosity, could you check whether setting it up as a hotspot works (as in MCPE-485)?
