Update: debug logs can be obtained by going to Settings->Privacy–>Diagnostics & Usage Data (or Analytics, depending on iOS version). Scroll down and find logs in the following format: "minecraftpe"<YYYY><MM><DD>-<TIME>.ips

Copy text, email/text, and please post a few here so they can get a head start fixing the issue. I added 4 files by sending via text from trouble iPads to my iPhone, then copying and emailing to myself, then from a computer saving them as text files and adding them here.

I'm having this same issue from two different ipads! The issue started upon update to 1.13. One iPad is running iOS 9.3.6 and the other iOS 10.3.3.

One iPad I backed up the games folder and re-installed. Same issue... Rebooted the iPads, no luck...

I'm feening here!

Same. so frustrating....  this is a PAID app.  these problems should not take days to be fixed.

Same!  I even deleted app and tried to reload it, but they want 6.99 again.  If you can't create a stable update, don't release it!  So annoying- how the hell do you contact or resolve issues now? Sad times for our family minecraft sessions.

Also please click the vote button at the top and vote for this, as well as follow it so the issue can get some attention. We were also starting family Minecraft night... 😛

Same. Has not worked on our iPad 3 since the new version release. Works on mini's and iPhone.

same here.  i have five ipads, all worked without any issues with 1.12, but after updating all to 1.13, all four crash within a few minutes.  Not a specific action: it looks like a timed crash. The time it takes to crash is the same each time no matter what you do.  start a saved world, start a new world, going through menus, or just let it sit at the title menu... and it crashes within the same number of seconds.  However, the ones with more system memory last a longer time than the older ones with less...

Follow these instructions to upload logs so this issue can get resolved more quickly!

Debug logs can be obtained by going to Settings->Privacy–>Diagnostics & Usage Data (or Analytics, depending on iOS version). Scroll down and find logs in the following format: "minecraftpe-2019-11-{DD}-{TIME#}.ips

  1. Make Minecraft crash to get a fresh log.

  2. Go to Settings->Privacy–>Diagnostics & Usage Data (or Analytics, depending on iOS version)

  3. Scroll down and find logs in alphabetical order, starting with "minecraftpe" with a date/time stamp appended "YYYY-MM{DD}-{TIME#}.ips

  4. Open the log you just created.

  5. Copy all the text (there is a lot).

  6. Email that to a computer where you can create text files.

  7. Open the email from a computer, make sure you copy all the text (some email clients truncate, but you can click a link for the full message).

  8. Open a basic text app, such as Notepad by pressing {Window Key + R }, type "notepad" and hit enter, and paste all the log file text into notepad and save the file somewhere you can find it.

  9. Navigate back to this page, log in, and drag/drop the files here. I added four files - two from each troubled iPad.

Please do what you can so they have some logs to review and can more quickly resolve this issue!

If there is any way I can help, I'm not sure if we're allowed to post emails, but I'm happy to help.

Looks like 1.13.2 update fixed our issue 😃😃😃

Try it and post back here if not.
