The players head is not angled properly when activating the elytra

What's Happening:
As shown in the video below, the players head is angled in a weird way when the third person (back) camera is pointed downwards.

What's Expected:
I expected my characters head to stay somewhat attached to its body. The noticable angle difference is quite peculiar looking.

How to reproduce:

  • Position your character as shown below and grab an elytra

  • Jump and activate your elytra immediatly

  • The players head should appear tilted in a bizarre way
