There’s been a bug that revolves around this issue, from what I’ve seen the xp orbs just fall straight down into the portal and apparently most people miss them because that’s not what is supposed to happen.

Minecraft MCPE PS4 v.1.14.30 and Windows 10 PC Beta v1.15.0.51. All the XP fell through the portal where I killed the dragon.

Can confirm from me today, 26th February 2020.
Just killed the enderdragon, XP fell down in one lump into the portal. You would assume that if you just stand near it you'd receive it, but that XP was gone. Didn't get any of it.

Similar to my previous comment were you able to check if the XP went to spawn.
When you go through the portal you get taken to your bed. XP as an entity doesn't have a bed so gets sent to world spawn. As far as I know no one has been able to reproduce a scenario yet where its completely dissapeared but its also hard to track so if you're able to check that would be great.

That's strange now. After I had killed the enderdragon and went through the portal, the XP had not appeared at spawn. However, after logging in my world know to what you said, the XP had appeared there. So yes I have now received the levels, but the XP hadn't appeared to me until I relogged into my world.

This is the same issue as MCPE-58715. In bedrock edition, the dragon's orbs drop straight down in a line, directly into the portal. In Java, the orbs burst out and land around the rim, almost none falling inside.

i just had the same problem on pocket edition 1.14.30. orbs fell through the portal (dragon died above it). the orbs did not show up at my previous set spawn or world spawn. apparently a complete loss
