V1.13 won't even open on my ipad4 (v1.12.1 was fine)

Having the same issue on my sons ipad 2 since it updated we press the app to load and we get the mojang screens and then it goes to a white screen and shuts itself, had this for 5 days now and he is going crazy! Seen loads of other people saying the same when google searched it.
