[MCPE-55645] iOS version of Minecraft not opening after latest update

apologies if ive listed this under the wrong project. havent done this before.

my kids play Minecraft on an old iPad2 running iOS 9.5.3. After the latest Minecraft update it no longer starts up.

we get the Mojang logo screen then a white screen and then the app closes. have deleted and reinstalled but the result is the same. any help appreciated.

According to Apple there is an issue were at Sunday , November 2nd , 2019 at 2:00 AM on devices released before 2013 were at that time the device lost access to the internet because the date time counter got reset Apple did push and update and you had to get it before 2:00 Am it is now impossible to play with out upgrading your device

@BrodPlayzYT I do not believe the Apple internet update is the issue as we users still have access to the Internet and the iPad functions as normal; it's only Minecraft PE that is not working and crashing when opened.

Agree with Jeanne. Seems to be only Minecraft that has issues and for us they only arose after the latest Minecraft update.

I am getting the same issue. iOS 9.3.5 is latest available for this iPad mini.

Same issue here. Was able to play MCPE on my 4th Gen iPad (iOS 10.3.3) through this morning before updating to the new 1.13 release. Since the install, I've been unable to successfully open the MCPE app. The Mojang logo appears, then a white screen, then the app closes.

I still have this issue on my devices I’d say it’s even worse now cant load any saved games or even create one with latest update of iOS and minecraft I’d say the issue is iOS updates are clashing with minecraft and viseversa as I updated minecraft it worked then another iOS Update came along and boom no minecraft again..
