Hello, my kids Minecraft app are not working on their iPads since the recent update on the 1st Nov 2019. The Mojang logo appears and then it crashes. Please help!! There doesn't appear to be any new updates. The older version worked perfectly.

First off, what version of the OS is it running?
On an iPad, I think it's under the "General" tab in Settings. "About Device" after that, IIRC. (I haven't had an iDevice in years)
On Android, it differs from carrier to carrier to version of Android to company of manufacture. Typically, you'll look for "About phone" or "About Device".
If the device is more than about 5 years old, there is a chance the device may not support GL (Graphics Libraries) it needs.

Hi Ashleigh, thank you for your message. The IOS is 9.3.5. According to the recent update, Minecraft pocket edition requires 8.0 or later so should work fine. Sadly since the update, it doesn't work at all and crashes as soon as you open the app.
