At random, for some reason, a certain type of food will not be able to be eaten. Even though the eating animation is playing, you don't consume the food and get hunger. Replacing the food or replanting it will not get rid of the issue
Expected result:
You should be able to eat all consumable foods
Actual result:
The eating animation plays, nut the food is not consumed
How to reproduce:
This happens at random, at least for me. So it may be hard to reproduce consistently
As an additional note, this has only happened to me on Multiplayer worlds and Realms. I haven't seen this happen on a Single player world or anyone else.
This is very frustrating when you are dying of hunger and the only food you have is that food that doesn't want to be eaten
