Player's Fire animation burns too long in creative

Cannot Reproduce

What I expected to happen was...
Fire went out when getting out of lava

What actually happened was...:
Fire kept burning for an annoyingly long time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get in lava
2. Get out
3. Be annoyed
