When I join a server my Minecraft skin that choose doesn't appear, it's someone else's skin. It keeps happening

Me and my friend also have this bug whenever we enter a server or play in one of our worlds. Also, we noticed this just happens with custom skins because whenever we use a skin from the shop it works but when we use our custom skins we get a random skin and we see each other with the same random skin we got. I play on mobile and he plays on Windows 10 Edition.
