Had a bell at an iron farm and picked it up with a silk touch diamond pickaxe. It will not leave my inventory nor will it allow me to place the bell. It is permanently stuck in my inventory now.

I found a fix for this. Just find another bell and it will stack to your inventory and you should able to move/place it. It worked for me
