When I'm holding shift and I open my inventory it shows my character crouching in the armor preview, but when I leave the inventory it un-crouches, even though I am holding shift. This is a big issue for me because I can be crouching around a lava pit as I am stacking and I just fall in.

The issue still exists in the latest version, 1.16.40, Minecraft Windows 10
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hold shift and W to sneak and walk forward
2. Press E to open inventory
3. Press E again to close inventory
Observed Results:
Upon opening the inventory, the player crouches and stops moving. This is expected, however upon closing the inventory the player remains uncrouched and stationary.
Expected Results;
The player should go back to crouching and walking forward. By not doing so, the player may press W again, and accidentally walk off of a cliff, thinking they were still crouched. The expected results are what happens on the Java version of Minecraft.
