Before the recent hot fix I had left in the nether and when I had joined back, upon entering the portal I would crash. Now after the hot fix it will crash upon loading.

Thank you for the attempt at help but when I entered I did not have a diamond pickaxe and it will not let me in the world now and crashes upon the middle of loading.

I had this: - break portal - fix and re-ignite - also if this fails build another portal close by and use that to fix the original. Failing that, try closing game completely and copying the offending file, that can sometimes fix things - Good luck!
