when in 3rd person view or 4th person (view looking at your self face on), any enclosed area one block thick or one block of roof cover, rain particles seem to penetrate the walls and roof, same with snow particles.
so one block from any angle from exterior of building, (from exterior one block thick wall too interior) the falling particle of rain or snow can be seen through a wall of one block thick regardless of if its enclosed or not.
