In our realm we've been giving issues with the game crashing and upon relogging we've been finding entire chunks missing and regenerated back to natural states. Seems to be happening when players press buttons or when gravel falls in a cave.
The realm owner reports that the world.file size is shrinking after every crash.
It reminds me of the nothing from neverending story slowly consuming our Minecraft world

I'm having similar issues on single player on xbox. The game crashes at times when loading multiple new chunks at one time, as well as every time I activate my flower farm. Farm design is the same as there persons above me, though on a smaller scale. Scaling down to a 4x4 size and/or running a slower redstone clock does not resolve the issue. Occasionally chunks will fully reset to natural states when this happens, but not every time.
Thank you for your report!
Crashes and related issues such as these are logged automatically, and will be looked into further by the development team - thank you for your patience and understanding while we get these issues resolved.

I am also a player on this realm. I triggered the game crashing twice incidentally when I powered on my flower farm. It was an earthquake design using pistons to move an 11x11 area of grass while also using a dispenser hooked up to a redstone clock to quickly dispense bonemeal and then shift the grass and reapply the bonemeal.
Both time I turned it on the game immediately crashed and areas of the map were either deleted the entire chunk or regenerated chunks to their natural state.
